All of us at Global Group Racing would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year. May everyone stay safe and let us hope that a vaccine can be rolled out as quickly as is practically possible.
Chris sneakily did not tell us it was his birthday on Sunday and no one checked the birthday column of the Racing Post. Thankfully Sir Mark did and so we were all able to wish him a belated Happy Birthday this morning.
The horses have been coming along nicely. We have made our first entry today for Newcastle next Monday. It looks like it will be a very competitive race with plenty of in form horses proven over course and distance and an interesting horse of Archie Watson's dropping in trip. We have to start Global Warning somewhere and as long as he stays healthy, Chris is likely to declare him on Saturday.
We were originally going to start him over 7f but Global Warning is ready to make his first start and the 6f 0-75 handicap looks like a good starting point. He has run some good races in defeat this year and has run well fresh, so we hope he will acquit himself well.
